Another thank you card

Hello Friends! I can't believe that Christmas is next week! Where has the time gone? Well, I do have good news to report...I'm all done with my Christmas shopping, woohoo!! I'm popping in today with another thank you card that I made for one of my co-workers. He gave me some Christmas gifts for Paige, which was so thoughtful!
Since I made this card for a co-worker, I decided to go with an office theme for the card. Hopefully he liked it! Well, I'm not sure if I'll be back before Christmas, so I would like to wish you all a Merry and Blessed Christmas! I hope Santa brings you everything on your list!

Thanks for stopping by,
Carol

Stocking Stuffers

Hello Friends! Did you have a nice weekend? I certainly did! We finally got our Christmas tree and put up all of our holiday decorations, so I'm a happy girl right about now! Paige has been focused on the lights on the tree and it's so sweet to see her little face sparkle!

After I made the grocery list for my girlfriend, I realized what a great stocking stuffer those would be. So, I whipped up a few more to add to some Christmas gifts. One will be going to my mom (hence the one that says Helen's grocery list). I made the mistake of putting her name on the first one I gave to her so now she expects it on every one of them! LOL!
These are pretty self explanatory as you've seen them many, many times! I used the same pad of paper for all of them, October Afternoon's 9 to 5 collection and then I varied the sentiments on each. I like the color combos on these, and hopefully it will be a nice little surprise in their gift bags!

I hope you have a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by!
Carol

Christmas Wishes

Hello Friends! Happy Saturday!! I hope you all are doing well and staying warm if it's chilly in your neck of the woods. Well, I was able to finish the Christmas cards for my friend and mailed them to her yesterday, woohoo! I was getting a little nervous that I wouldn't be able to finish them, but I put Paige in her little bouncy, parked her in my craft room and we chatted while I made cards. :-)

Remember I told you that my friend loves snowmen? Well, I found this digital image from Mo Manning and went from there. I cut the frame using my Silhouette Cameo, colored the image with Copic markers and added the sentiment to the die cut at the bottom. That snowman just makes me smile! I have to say that snow definitely makes it feel more like the holidays, being in south Florida in 80 degree weather at Christmas time still feels weird to me!

I also added a grocery list to my friend's package because she loves them, and I wanted to thank her for being patient with me!

Random comment for the day, do you use Shutterfly for your photos? I absolutely LOVE it! We ordered our Christmas cards from them and they turned out awesome! This is the first time in a long time that I didn't make my own Christmas cards but now that we have Paige, a photo card was definitely the way to go! I also ordered a calendar and I love that too! The quality is fantastic! Anyway, just a random comment and wanted to find out if you all use Shutterfly too!

I'm so happy you stopped by today, have a great weekend!
Carol

Thanks ever so much

Hello Friends! Happy Hump Day! The weekend is almost here and that's always a reason to celebrate! My week has been wonderful, me and Paige went to lunch with my neighbor yesterday and we had a great time. Paige is such a good baby, she doesn't mind going out at all! I really need to get started on her scrapbook so I can share all of these wonderful moments with her when she gets older.

Today I have another thank you card to share. You are not going to believe this, but we received a gift for Paige from our drycleaner! Okay, just so you know we haven't been there in a couple of years because we moved, but David will drop by from time to time to say hello. Anyway, I just can't believe they did that for us. We truly are surrounded by some wonderful people!
I find this card to be colorful and sweet, the perfect way to say thank you! I hope they like it, oh and we also dropped a picture of the baby in there for them as well. Well, that's if for me today, thanks so much for stopping by!

Joy

Hello Friends! Well the holidays are in full swing! I hope your holiday shopping is coming along nicely, as for me I still haven't started! LOL! The good thing is I have a list, so I know exactly what I want to buy, it's just a matter of getting out there and buying it!

So today, since we're talking about the holidays, I have a set of Christmas cards to share with you. My friend asked me to make some cards for her (as I do every year) but since I have the baby I was kind of hesitant because I wasn't sure I'd be able to complete them. Well, I'm halfway there, and here is the first set.

I used the same paper pad for all 7 cards and decided to make tent topper cards for a nice change. I actually got the idea from the super talented Debbie Olson. The cards are 4 1/4 square, and the circle on top sticks out just far enough to make them the perfect A2 size. My friend asked for a total of 15 cards, so I'll be busy making the rest today!

Thank You - October Afternoon style

Hello Friends! I hope your holiday weekend was fabulous and I also hope you were able to get in some good shopping! I can't believe it's already December and Christmas is just a few short weeks away! I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet, but I will be holiday mode very soon!

Today, I have a card to share that I made for our neighbor. First, I have to say that we live in a great neighborhood, all of our neighbors are so darn sweet! This particular neighbor stopped by last week with a gift for the baby and I wanted to say thank you.
As you know, I'm a HUGE fan of October Afternoon, they have awesome paper and embellishments! This card came together pretty easily and now I'm off to hand deliver it to my neighbor. :-)
