Birthday card

Hello Friends! I'm so sorry for the brief hiatus, but I've been having some serious computer issues! I'm actually still having those problems but I had to backdoor it and use Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer, so here I am! You can't keep a good woman down! LOL!

Did you all have a nice weekend? Mine was very relaxing, and very hot! Can you believe the temperature on Sunday got up to 99 degrees?! Isn't that insane! It's only April!!!! I think I say this every year, but I'm so not ready for the summer! Anyway, I digress. I'm here today to share a birthday card I made for my God Daughter, Danielle. She's such a sweet little girl, I just love seeing her smile!
I really like how this card turned out. Danielle's mom even texted me to tell me how much she loved it! I used some really pretty patterned paper from Simple Stories called Vintage Bliss and decided to go with the whole photo/camera theme. I cut out the Polaroid banner from a piece of patterned paper, and stamped the sentiment from PTI's Shutterbug set. I used the library card and the memories enclosed label from October Afternoon's "doo-dads" from their Farm Girl collection. I stamped the BIG Birthday Wishes sentiment from PTI's Think Big Favorites, and added the little wood veneer camera for some added dimension. All in all, it was a really fun card to make!

Well, I hope you enjoyed today's post and if my internet is still cooperating later this week, I'll be posting more for sure! Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

Birthday cards

Hello Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! Unfortunately, I'm feeling a little under the weather, so the week isn't starting out too great for me. But, I'm not going to let a little cold get me down, so I'm here today to share a couple of birthday cards.

I made the first card for my friend's daughter who turned one earlier this month! She had a Minnie Mouse themed party, it was a lot of fun!
The second card was made for one of my friends. You know I LOVE that gold foil patterned paper from PTI, so I took that out and whipped up this quick and easy card.

I'm currently working on a set of 10 cards for a friend of mine, so I'll be back soon to post pics of those! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Coffee Cards

Hello Friends, and happy Saturday! I hope you all had a great week and are looking forward to an even better weekend! I haven't quite decided on what are plans are yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something!

Today I'm sharing a set of cards I made for my co-worker. She asked for some cards that had a gift card holder inside. She likes to give Starbucks gift cards to friends and family (my kinda girl!). So, I pulled out my cute image from MFT called Miss You a Latte and whipped up this set of cards.

I actually made a set of 5 cards, but one card went rouge and stayed behind in the house when I was taking photos! I colored the MFT image with Copic markers, added some polka dot paper and a ribbon to the front. On the inside, I cut out the gift card holder from my Silhouette and stamped a cute coffee cup image from PTI on the inside. My co-worker really liked them, and she told me I should quit my job and make cards full-time! LOL! I think I'll stick to doing it on the side, I kinda like being able to pay my bills! :-)

And, as promised, here are couple of pics of Paige from Easter weekend!

Well, get out there and enjoy your Saturday! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Easter!

Hello Friends, and Happy Easter! I've had an exciting weekend! I took Paige to her first Easter egg hunt yesterday and it was SO cute!!! She had a blast (and so did I), just to see her walking/running around trying to find the eggs and placing them nicely in her basket. I just loved every minute of it!

Today, we're heading church to celebrate Resurrection Sunday and to thank our Lord Jesus Christ for all that he has done for us. After church there will be another Easter egg hunt, but we'll see if Paige feels up to it, church usually tuckers her out! LOL!

So, I'm popping in this morning to share the cutest little bunny boxes I made for Paige's teachers. Of course I got them from the Silhouette online store, and I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before but Lori Whitlock is by far my favorite designer. She has the most creative projects, the woman is absolutely amazing!
Aren't they cute!! It took three sheets of cardstock to make these little bunnies appear! As you can see I filled them with Reese peanut butter eggs, and I handed them out to her teachers on Thursday. I made a total of 6 and they were just a cinch to put together. I love projects like this! I know that Teacher Appreciation Week will be coming up soon, so I've been scouring Pinterest for ideas! Since I have to make 6 of everything, I'm looking for some easy peasy projects, if you have ideas, please let me know!

I hope you all enjoy your Easter, and thank you so much for stopping by!

The sky's the limit

Hello Friends! How are you this fine Wednesday morning? I don't have any April Fools Day jokes for you, but if you're a jokester, today is your day!

Are you getting ready for Easter? I just finished an Easter project for Paige's teachers, and I'll be sharing that very soon! I plan to take Paige to an Easter egg hunt at a local park with one of my girlfriends and her daughters, it should be a lot of fun! I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures, I promise!

So, I started something new and that's crafting in the evening. After I put Paige to bed which is typically around 8:30pm, I go into my craft room and try to get some crafting time in. I have to admit, it's really hard! When you're already kinda tired, it's hard to focus and it may sound strange but you really need to focus when you're crafting. Sometimes I measure incorrectly, and other times I just can't get my mojo going because I'm too busy thinking about going to bed, LOL! It's getting a little better, but I have to snag time when I can and it looks like the nighttime may be that time! Wish me luck!

Today I have something to share that I'm calling Lunch Tote Notes (thank you Leslie)! These little notes are perfect to tuck in your child's lunch tote, or you can even make it a love note and tuck it inside your significant other's lunch tote! Please excuse the photos, I really need to figure out the whole lighting situation when I'm taking pictures outside!

I used the Lunch Box Note die from PTI for the little notecards. I love how it cuts that little half circle slit for you so you can just tuck in the flap. The stamp set is also from PTI and it's called Blue Skies, I just love the sentiment. I plan to make a bunch of these little suckers because they're nice to have on hand when you want a little something to brighten someone's day or to offer words of encouragement. Hopefully you won't get tired of seeing them popping up every now and then!

Well , that's it for me today I hope the rest of week is fantastic! Thanks so much for stopping by!
