Birthday Cards

Hello Friends! I hope you're having a great weekend! My weekend has been good even though we've all been battling a cold! I think Paige is doing the best out of all of us. LOL! We did get a chance to go to the park yesterday for a picnic we had with some friends. I think the fresh air was good for us.

So, I've been spending my time planning and crafting for Paige's birthday party! I can't believe she's almost one! I'm really happy with the way things are turning out and of course I'll be sharing the finished products!

Today, I have a couple of birthday cards to share that Paige and I gave to David for his birthday.

I made these cards a couple of months ago, and truly forgot to post them. Needless to say, I'm not even sure I remember all of my supplies! With that said, I won't say much about the cards, but I hope you enjoy them!

Have a great Sunday, and thank you so much for stopping by!

Sending a Big Thank You

Hello Friends! Are you having a good weekend? My weekend has been pretty good with the exception of all the rain we've been getting! And the humidity...don't even get me started on that! LOL! Well, I am really excited today, because football Sunday is back! I LOVE football, and I miss it dearly during the summer. And of course football Sunday, calls for football food so today's menu will consist of wings, hotdogs, and salad (gotta round it out with something healthy!). We'll attend church this morning, then hurry home to plop on the sofa and get our football fix.

Today I have a card to share that I made for a co-worker. I got to do something that I think is really cool, I did voice-over work for a video that will be streaming on my company's website! How awesome is that! It was a great experience, I had a professional microphone and everything! As you can tell, I had a blast! So, I made this card for the gentleman that asked me to do the voice-over.

Okay, first of all this patterned paper is one of my favorites of all time! It's by October Afternoon and it's called 9 to 5 - how apropos! The paper is definite the highlight of this card! I diecut the little typewriter and telephone from PTI's Desktop Design, and tucked the card into the library card holder. Super simple, and I love how it turned out!

Well, it's time to wake up Paige and get her day started, I hope you all have a great Sunday. Go Dolphins!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Gone Fishin'

Hello Friends! Happy Labor Day! I hope your weekend has been great so far! So, what are you up to today? Are you spending the day with family and friends? We are pretty low key around here (my honey had to work all weekend), so we're just chilling today. We plan to throw a few hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill this afternoon and that's about it. I also want to do a little crafting today as well, so we'll see how that goes.

Today, I have a masculine card to share with you. I know, it's surprising, right?! My husband asked me to make a birthday card for his friend, and this is what I came up with.
I cut the old fisherman and the "ocean waves" with my Silhouette. I love that fisherman! I also used my Silhouette to cut a cloud and I used some aqua ink to stamp around it for the illusion of clouds in the air. I hope his friend likes it!

Well, I think I'm going to get breakfast started and chill with my honey and little one. I hope you all have a great day, and thanks so much for stopping by!
