Teacher's Apple, Part II

Hello Friends! How are you doing this fine Saturday morning? I'm doing great, and I can't wait to get my day started. Paige and I are meeting my friend Jeanette for lunch today and that's always a fun time! After that we may swing by the mall for a little shopping then back home.

Today, I have another teacher's apple project to share with you. This was made for one of Paige's daycare teachers for her birthday. She has been so wonderful to Paige (they all are, but Mrs. Genie goes above and beyond). Anyway, I added Dove chocolate and a gift card to this sweet little gift box.

This was made with my Silhouette and it was super easy to put together. I really love how this turned out and Mrs. Genie loved it too!

Well, I better get myself together so we can be on time for our lunch date. Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by!

From the desk of...

Hello Friends! Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was fantastic! Mine was great, I was able to get some crafting done and that's always a good thing! So, today I have a card that I made for my brother-in-law. He's a real estate agent/broker and he asked for some thank you cards (75 total)! This is the design for the first set of 25:
I absolutely love this desk set by Papertrey Ink! There are so many little things that I can stamp to add on top of the desk but I LOVE that typewriter! You know that I have a love affair with old school typewriters! I'm on the lookout for a pink Royal typewriter, let me know if you happen to come across one at a good price!

For these cards I alternated between green, kraft, and turquoise and they turned out really cute. I typed my BIL's name in a Word document then printed it on cardstock. I stamped "from the desk of" and then stamped the desk directly onto the cardstock. I die cut the typewriter, telephone, and pen holder, stamped them then added to the top of the desk. I cut a strip of patterned paper and added that to the right side of the cardstock, and that was it! You will definitely see me using this stamp set again, and again, and again! :-)

I hope your week is off to a great start and thank you so much for stopping by!

Baby Talk

Hello Friends! I hope you're having a great 4th of July weekend! Our day yesterday was pretty quiet, my honey had to work so Paige and I just relaxed at home. We've been getting a lot of rain lately so being in the house has been our thing. :-)

So, today I have a little baby talk for you! Paige recently turned 9 months old, can you believe it? Time is going by so incredibly fast! Here's a recent picture of her that I took in our back yard.

She is definitely the happiest baby ever! She smiles, and belly laughs, and talks ALL the time! She is so funny! The daycare actually got her on video saying Daddy! She's been saying "da-da" but this time it was daddy! My husband was beside himself! She's not quite crawling yet, but she does the "booty scoot" backwards which is hilarious! I told my husband that I think she's going to skip crawling all together and start walking soon!

She's 18lbs 6oz and they didn't measure her length at the doctor's office, but I would say that she's close to 28 inches. She's just growing like a weed. Paige fills our days with so much joy, she is truly sunshine on a rainy day! I'm already starting to look for ideas for her first birthday. That's going to be a lot of fun! Since we have a long weekend, I want to at least start thinking of ideas for her invitations so I can check that off of my list.

Well, that's my update on Paige, I hope you enjoyed it! Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by!
